Authenticity in the Age of AI: Cobra Art Company’s Global Growth and Vision for 2025

The art world is evolving faster than ever, with AI-generated images and rapid technological change shaping trends. Yet, Cobra Art Company remains true to its roots by focusing on authenticity, craftsmanship, and real stories.

In a recent interview, Mike van Rijswijk Jr., reflected on a strong start to 2025. The year kicked off with a successful showcase at Maison & Objet in Paris, where Cobra Art introduced their innovative 3D mixed-media prints, a hit with designers and collectors alike.

“Our business is all about authenticity: real photo shoots, real models, real stories. AI can’t replace that,” says Mike.

Global Demand & Exclusive Collections

Despite new US import duties, demand from the United States continues to grow, especially from interior designers seeking Cobra Art’s photography on plexiglass and dibond, which remains their best-selling collection. At the same time, the Masterpiece Collection, featuring limited-edition works by top international artists, is seeing increased demand for exclusive, high-end pieces.

Digital Growth & Omnichannel Strategy

Cobra Art is preparing to launch its first-ever webshop, starting with its photographic collection. While digital growth is a priority, Mike emphasizes that physical experiences remain essential, with the company’s 1100 m² showroom in Veenendaal and flagship galleries in Amsterdam and Rotterdam playing a central role in its strategy.

Expanding Horizons

With growing markets in Asia, the Middle East, and the US, Cobra Art is taking bold steps toward further international expansion. Their team continues to innovate through collaborations with Dutch, Belgian, and American artists, blending contemporary trends with timeless artistry.

As the world turns increasingly digital, Cobra Art’s commitment to authentic, high-quality art sets it apart. Their goal is simple: to deliver artworks that inspire and bring harmony to interiors across the globe.
